Case

The case is often the most overlooked part of a computer, but the case is vital to how long a PC will last and it's overall performance. When buying a case think of it as an investment, as cases are often used for many builds, as when you upgrade your PC you often keep the case.

Which size do I need?

For gaming I reccommend an ATX case, as this is the biggest case and will house all of your components. However if you want a small pc and don't want it to be a powerful computer I reccommend a micro ATX. Remember to choose the same size motherboard as your case, so if you buy an ATX case buy an ATX motherboard to make sure that they fit.

What fans do I need?

I reccommend as many fans as possible, 2 are fine but the more the better as it will help keep the computer's temperature down. Also bigger fans are better, as they can spin slower which means that they are quieter than smaller fans.

How many bays do I need?

That is completely up to you, the sata bays are for harddrives, normally people only have one but some have more. The drive bays are for disc drives, such as blu-ray and dvd drives, which is also up to you. I like having room for the future so I reccommend atleast two of both.
